Urja was initiated and founded by Priti Shah after forming a relationship with Kshamata in Mumbai. Click here for more information about Priti Shah. For two years in Mumbai was able to connect with Kshamata, a grassroots NGO. We shared similar values which supported transformative processes with a holistic approach that upheld the values of love , acceptance, and respect.
This was a start of an authentic relationship with the staff and the rescued girls.( Priti Shah was able to initiate trips with rescued girls/women and couple staff for fun, adventure and building relationship).
Priti Shah will be personally involved in implementing and supporting the values of respect, non-judgment, fairness, dignity, creativity, sustainable employment and quality of life in all processes and practices.
